Cary among best cities to live in
Cary is growing fast in terms of population and development, but also for its national status.
The city that’s racing toward 200,000 residents just cracked the top 10 on Livability.com‘s new list for the best places to live in the U.S. for small and mid-sized cities. Cary ranks sixth on a scoring system that focuses on a city’s economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.
Cary’s livability score is 849. At the top of the list is Johns Creek, Georgia, a suburb north of Atlanta, with a score of 877.
Other North Carolina cities that made the list are Durham, Concord, Asheville and Winston-Salem.
